My kids love to do crafts and I think there is so much they have to be thankful for. So I thought it would be fun to make a simple project out of it! These only took us about 20 minutes to make.
You’ll need:
toilet paper roll
colored construction paper
marker
tape or glue
Begin by cutting feather shapes out of your construction paper. We then cut a small orange square and folded it in half for the beak. And we cut more of a diamond shape out of red construction paper for the waddle.
I asked the kids what they were thankful for and I wrote it on their feathers. My husband drew on the eyes with a permanent marker. Then we taped on the beak, waddle and feathers.
They were both so proud of their projects. As you can see

Aw, your kids are adorable! And what a great project to reflect on our blessings
Your babies are so cute with contagious smiles! I can’t wait to do this craft project with my son. Thank you for the great idea.
Adorable, I think my nine year old has herself a craft to do this wk end!
love this craft so fun!
I’m thankful for my bed, too!
