German Chocolate Chip Cookies
 
 
Serves: 5 dozen
Ingredients
  • 1 cup BUTTER, softened
  • ½ cup SUGAR
  • 1 cup BROWN SUGAR, packed
  • 1 teaspoon VANILLA EXTRACT
  • 2 EGGS
  • 1¾ cups FLOUR
  • ½ cup COCOA
  • 1 teaspoon BAKING SODA
  • 1 teaspoon SALT
  • 2 cups MILK CHOCOLATE CHIPS
  • 1 cup CHOPPED PECANS
  • 1½ cups SHREDDED COCONUT
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix until well combined.
  3. Add flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. Stir until everything is fully incorporated. Mix in chocolate chips, pecans and coconut.
  4. Put tablespoon sized balls of dough on cookie sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes.
