Ingredients

2 cups OLD FASHIONED OATMEAL

1/3 cup BROWN SUGAR

1 teaspoon BAKING POWDER

1 teaspoon CINNAMON

1/2 teaspoon KOSHER SALT

2 Tablespoons BUTTER, melted and cooled slightly

1 1/2 cups MILK

1/2 cup UNSWEETENED APPLESAUCE

1 teaspoon VANILLA EXTRACT

1 EGG, beaten

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 2 quart baking dish.

In a large bowl, combine oatmeal, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.

Add melted butter, milk, applesauce, vanilla extract and beaten egg.  Stir well.

Transfer to prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes until center is set.

Serve warm with fresh fruit and a splash of half and half.
