Chicken Nuggets made with #KraftFreshTake & a giveaway

August 16, 2012 By Crumbs and Chaos

Spread the love
I recently had the opportunity to try out Kraft’s new Fresh Take cheese and breadcrumb mix.  It comes in several different flavor combos – Italian Parmesan, Southwest Three Cheese, Rosemary & Roasted Garlic, Cheddar Jack & Bacon, Savory Four Cheese and Chili Lime Panko.  I had a hard time deciding which one to try, but since I was making it with my kids in mind I chose Italian Parmesan.
I wanted to take on the classic chicken nugget, not super elaborate I know, but something that they would definitely eat.  I also loved the ease of just opening up the bag and being able to toss the chicken right in.  I do cook a lot from scratch and some days there isn’t enough time for that.  This Fresh Take mix helped to get dinner on the table quickly.  And it smelled so wonderful while it was cooking!
This is really a no-recipe recipe.  You need 1 1/2 lbs. of boneless skinless chicken breast and 1 pkg. Kraft Fresh Take cheese & breadcrumb mix.  Preheat the oven to 350°.  Cut the chicken into nugget sized pieces.  Toss each piece in the mix and lay in a single layer on a greased baking sheet.  Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden and the chicken is cooked through.  Serve with your favorite dipping sauces.
We all loved this!  My kids went crazy dipping and eating, dipping and eating.  This is something I would make again when I need a meal in a hurry that everyone will enjoy!

You get to try it too!  The winner of today’s giveaway will receive – product coupons for Kraft Fresh Take, a Quirky Porter Grill Caddy and a Fox Run Mesh Food Cover

Sounds yummy! Started to grab one of those today but decided against since it really makes too much for two.

I think the Four Cheese and Chili Lime Panko would be good on some fish.

We love the 3 cheese! I really appreciate the speed and ease of this on a busy night or when I haven’t prepped anything.

I would try the Southwest Thee Cheese on chicken and the Rosemary & Roasted Garlic on pork first since half of my family prefers chicken and the other half pork!

This looks so yummy. I can’t wait to give it a try. I’ve stopped buying chicken nugget and this looks like a quick and easy way to make them.
