Who doesn’t remember having an oatmeal cream pie as a child? It has always been one of my favorite Little Debbie snacks. I always ate around the outside and saved the middle bite (with the most cream!) for last! So… when I saw a recipe for this homemade treat I couldn’t wait to try it!
The goal of course is getting it thin enough that the cookie to cream ratio is correct. While also have a chewy texture. This recipe was wonderful and accomplished both goals! I had to practice a lot of self-control so that I didn’t eat them all in one day. Luckily they were wonderful the next day… and even the next. We will DEFINITELY be making these again!
