Reese Peanut Butter Banana Bread

January 3, 2012 By Crumbs and Chaos

Spread the love
Yum, Yum, Yum.  Three words to describe this banana bread.  As you can tell from the picture, I cut the bread as soon as possible and the steam was still coming off of it.  The moistness from the banana bread and the warm peanut butter cups were to die for.  I made sure to make this when we had family over so I didn’t eat all of it.  This year my goal is to work on creating some new healthier treat recipes, but I had to share this one.
Reese Peanut Butter Banana Bread
Printable Recipe Here
3 very ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup oil
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
8 ounces Reese’s Mini Cups
Preheat oven to 350.
Grease a loaf pan with butter or shortening.
In a medium bowl whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.  Set aside.
In a large bowl stir together bananas, peanut butter, oil, egg, and sugars.
Pour dry ingredients into banana mixture and stir until just combined.  Batter will be lumpy.
Fold in your Reese’s mini cups and spread batter into prepared pan.
Bake for about 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then loosen the edges of the pan with a knife and remove from loaf pan, transferring bread to a cooling rack.

Hi! I saw your post on this recipe over on 33 Shade of Green for Tasty Tuesdays. I had to come over and check out what you thought of the Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Bread because I also made it last week and it was SO good–easily the best banana bread ever. It was gobbled up really quickly.

Anyway I’m glad I found your blog! I love seeing new recipes! Happy New Year!
