Pepperoni Pizza Roll-Ups

January 10, 2012 By Crumbs and Chaos

Spread the love
I recently hosted a play date at my house with 8 kids (crazy, I know!).  I needed something easy to make for lunch that I knew the kids and the moms would enjoy.  I ran across these and they were a big hit.  I had pepperoni filling but I am sure you could use anything you wanted in them.  I gave the kids pizza sauce to dunk them in…they loved it.  Kids always love to play with their food.  I served them with apple slices for the kids and a greek salad for the adults.  All in all a great lunch!

Ingredients
  • 1 can crescent rolls
  • 4 mozzarella cheese sticks, cut in half
  • 40 pieces of pepperoni (I used regular but you could also use turkey pepperoni to make them healthier.)
  • pizza sauce for dipping
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375.
Unroll crescent rolls and separate into 8 triangles.
Place 5 pieces of pepperoni into each triangle.
Top pepperoni with cheese stick, cut in half and roll up.
Place them on a cookie sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
Serve with pizza sauce.

Yum! I make these with ham and cheese sometimes, they’re so delicious for dinner with soup or salad. I love the idea of pizza ones with dipping sauces

I made a ham and cheese version of these the other day. They freeze great and make for an easy lunch for the kids when you don’t have much time.

I made these last night with pizza crust and they turned out great. A bit hit! I also froze 1/2 the batch for another time and have a feeling they will not stay in the freezer for long 🙂
