Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich

June 17, 2011 By Crumbs and Chaos

In the summer time, we love to make sandwiches.  We like them because the cooking is minimal, the possibilities are endless, the ingredients can be as fresh as you like, and it is easy to please everyone.  This time we decided to recreate one of our favorite subs from a famous restaurant chain.   The main ingredients in the sandwich are chicken, bacon, and ranch.  The rest of the ingredients are completely customizable to your family.

CHICKEN BACON RANCH SANDWICH
Printable Recipe Here

Ingredients
2 CHICKEN BREASTS, cooked and sliced
6 slices BACON, cooked
6 slices CHEESE, your favorite kind will do, we used pepper jack and provolone
RANCH DRESSING
4 ROLLS or 8 slices of BREAD, whatever you use to make your favorite sandwich

The following ingredients are what we used for topping.  They can be added to, omitted, and used to your liking.
FRESH SPINACH
RED ONION, thinly sliced
PARMESAN CHEESE

Directions
Turn the broiler on.  Place rolls or bread on a foil lined baking sheet.  Open bread and layer cheese, chicken, and bacon.  Place under the broiler until cheese melts, being sure not to burn the bread.  Remove bread from the oven and top with spinach, onion, ranch dressing, and parmesan cheese.  ENJOY!
