Sunday Chicken can actually be enjoyed any day of the week. My sister gave me this recipe a few years ago and we have made it quite a few times. I love when you can throw all your ingredients in the crockpot and 6-8 hours later you’re ready to enjoy.
4-6 Chicken breasts
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 packet onion soup mix
1- 8oz. sour cream
Turn your crockpot on (low for 8 hours or high for 4-6 hours.)
Put in the chicken breast. I put mine in frozen and if they’re good size chicken breasts I would use 4 and if they’re smaller use 6.
Add both cans cream of chicken soup and onion soup mix packet.
Leave in crockpot for up to eight hours. (If you’re around, stir occasionally.)
About a half hour before serving stir in the sour cream.
Great with any side…rice, potatoes, veggies…etc.
