While the cake is baking (or anytime before the party) line up cupcake papers on a cookie sheet or in a 9 x 13 inch pan, that will fit back into your freezer. Then place a scoop of ice cream in each cupcake paper. If you want to add sprinkles or candies this is a great time to add them. Then place the cookie sheet or pan back in the freezer. At cake and ice cream time just pull them out of the freezer and place one cupcake paper on each cake plate! This is not only a great way to keep the party moving, but it also allows the perfect portion, especially for children!
