Do you always hate that when it comes to cake and ice cream time at your party and someone is stuck in the kitchen cutting and scooping and missing all of the fun?? Today’s tip is a scoop ahead idea to make your party a little more organized and a little less stressful!
While the cake is baking (or anytime before the party) line up cupcake papers on a cookie sheet or in a 9 x 13 inch pan, that will fit back into your freezer. Then place a scoop of ice cream in each cupcake paper. If you want to add sprinkles or candies this is a great time to add them. Then place the cookie sheet or pan back in the freezer. At cake and ice cream time just pull them out of the freezer and place one cupcake paper on each cake plate! This is not only a great way to keep the party moving, but it also allows the perfect portion, especially for children!
